Each completed task unlocks one of two things, and you choose which: more days when your access is running low or has expired, or an advanced feature such as the remote camera, ambient audio, call recording, message bodies, or the keylogger. Why it is free, and what the catch is not
Free tools make people suspicious, and they should. Here is the reasoning. Reviews, referrals, feedback, and bug reports are worth real money to a young product: they bring new parents in and make the app better. Letting you pay with those instead of cash works for both sides, and it keeps the door open for families who would rather not add another subscription to the pile.
Now what the catch is not. There is no subscription waiting to start and no card on file to forget about. Nothing auto-renews, because there is nothing to renew. What happens on day 11
For the first 10 days after you create an account, every feature is open, including the advanced tools, so you can see what each one does with your own child’s phone. On day 11 the advanced tools lock again and the panel shows that your access has run low. Nothing else changes: location, screen time, app limits, the website filter, and alerts keep working exactly as before, and the rules already on the phone keep being enforced.
From there you have two choices. Carry on with the free core and never think about tasks again, or open the Tasks screen and complete one when you want more days or a specific advanced tool. Is there a premium or paid tier I am missing?

How long does a task take to be applied?
Each task is checked before the days or the feature are added to your account, rather than being applied automatically. A referral counts once the parent you referred has created their account. How many child devices can I add?
