What exactly is FreePhoneSpy?

It's monitoring software that brings a device's location, messages, calls, apps and web activity into one secure web dashboard. It's built for two lawful situations: parents protecting their own minor children, and businesses overseeing company-owned devices with employees informed.

Who is allowed to use it?

Parents and legal guardians monitoring their own minor children, and organisations monitoring devices they own where staff have given informed consent. It is not for monitoring another adult's personal device without their knowledge.

Is using a phone tracker legal?

Monitoring your own minor child or a company-owned device with the user informed is generally lawful. Secretly tracking another adult is generally illegal. Laws vary by country and region, so always check yours before starting. We build the product strictly for lawful, consent-based use.

Do I need access to the target phone?

Yes, briefly. Setup requires one-time physical access to the device you own or manage. After that, you monitor remotely from your dashboard.

Does it work on Android and iPhone?

Yes, on both. Some features differ between platforms because Android and iOS work differently. See the install guide for specifics.

Will it slow the phone or drain the battery?

No. It runs efficiently in the background. Only heavy on-demand features like live screen viewing use noticeable resources, and only while active.

Can the monitored person tell it's there?

That depends on your settings and the law where you live. For children and company devices we recommend transparency; covert monitoring of an adult is illegal in most places.

How fast does activity show up in the dashboard?

Usually within minutes, provided the device has a connection. Offline data is queued and uploaded when the device reconnects.

Can I monitor several devices at once?

Yes, up to your plan's limit. All devices appear in one dashboard. See pricing for device counts.

Is my data secure and private?

Yes. It's encrypted in transit and stored in your private, password-protected account. Only you can access it. See our Privacy Policy.

What does it cost?

Plans start affordably, with lower per-month pricing on longer terms, plus a Business tier for fleets. Full details are on the pricing page.

Can I cancel any time?

Yes. Manage or cancel from your dashboard whenever you like — there's no lock-in.

What if I need help setting it up?

Support is included on every plan. Reach out via the contact page and we'll guide you through it.

How do I stop monitoring a device?

Disable features, remove the device, or uninstall the app at any time. Removing the app stops monitoring of that device.
