Please note: This page is a general template provided for transparency and is not legal advice. Laws differ by country and region. You should consult a qualified lawyer to ensure your own use of FreePhoneSpy, and any policies you rely on, comply with the rules that apply to you.
FreePhoneSpy (“we”, “us”) provides monitoring software for lawful, consent-based use by parents protecting their own minor children and by businesses managing company-owned devices with informed employees. This policy covers our website and service.
We collect information in three broad categories. Account information you give us when you sign up, such as your name, email address and billing details. Monitoring data collected from devices you set up under your account — for example location, messages, call logs, app and web activity — which is stored in your private account. Usage and technical data about how you interact with our website and dashboard, including device and browser information and log data, used to operate and improve the service.
We use account information to provide the service, process payments, and communicate with you. We process monitoring data solely to make it available to you in your dashboard — it is your data, collected under your account and your responsibility to gather lawfully. We use technical data to maintain security, troubleshoot, and improve the product. We do not sell your personal information or your monitoring data.
You are responsible for ensuring you have the legal right to monitor any device you set up — that it is your own minor child or a company-owned device with the user informed, as required by the laws that apply to you. You are the controller of the monitoring data you collect; we act as a processor that stores and displays it for you.
We use encryption in transit, store data in access-controlled systems, and protect dashboards with passwords. No system is perfectly secure, but we take the sensitivity of this information seriously and design our safeguards accordingly. Keeping your own login credentials secure is an essential part of protecting your account.
We keep account information for as long as your account is active and as needed to comply with our legal obligations. Monitoring data is retained according to your plan and settings; when you remove a device or close your account, associated monitoring data is deleted in line with our retention practices. You can export records before cancelling.
We share information only with service providers who help us operate (such as payment and hosting providers) under appropriate confidentiality obligations, and where required by law or valid legal process. We do not share your monitoring data with advertisers or data brokers.
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete or port your personal data, and to object to or restrict certain processing. To exercise these, contact [email protected]. We will respond in line with applicable law.
Our service is purchased and operated by adults. Where a parent monitors a minor child, the parent is responsible for that child's data within their account. We do not knowingly create accounts for children.
Your information may be processed in countries other than your own. Where it is, we take steps to ensure appropriate protection consistent with this policy and applicable law.
We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by the “last updated” date, and where appropriate we will notify you.
